Families never pay Ever Ahead. We may be compensated by senior-care providers when families connect with them through our platform. That compensation may influence which providers appear as participating partners.
We are therefore not a complete or impartial ranking of every senior-care provider in the Houston Bay Area, and we do not claim to be.
How compensation works
Participating providers enter into a commercial relationship with Ever Ahead. Depending on the arrangement, compensation may be connected to a family being referred to that provider, or to an inquiry or placement that results.

What this means for what you see
- Not every provider participates. Some providers in our service area have no relationship with us, and may not appear in our directory even if they would suit your family well.
- Participation may affect visibility. Providers with a commercial relationship may appear where non-participating providers do not.
- Matching is based on your inputs. Which providers may fit is determined by location, care type, budget range, preferences and timing, not by who pays the most.
- We label participating partners. Where a provider has a compensated relationship with Ever Ahead, we disclose it on their profile.
What we do not claim
We deliberately avoid these claims because they would not be accurate:
- That Ever Ahead is completely unbiased.
- That our recommendations are fully independent.
- That every provider in the market is evaluated equally.
- That appearing on Ever Ahead means a provider is high quality, appropriately licensed or suitable for your family.
What we commit to
- We will not fabricate provider listings, reviews, ratings or testimonials.
- We will not display star ratings unless they come from an identified, verifiable source.
- We will show the date provider information was last verified.
- We will disclose compensated relationships on provider profiles.
- We will explain why a provider appeared in your results.
- We will not sell your contact information to a list of communities.
Why we tell you this
Referral-based models are normal in senior care, and there is nothing inherently wrong with one. What is wrong is presenting a compensated referral service as neutral advice. Families making this decision deserve to know who is paying for the service they are using, so they can weigh what they read accordingly.
